Default 383 stroker

The engine is a factory GM ZZ3 crate motor that I hadrebuilt by Ed Hale of Lakeside into a 383 Stroker. The top end (aluminum heads, intake, polished runners and plenum) are from Gary Fingerman's race vette andhave been ported and matched. The intake runners are oversized with big 58mmthrottle-body. The ZZ3 cam has .208 intake, .221 exhaust, and 112 degree lobeseparation and 10.5 to 1 compression. Dyno-tests produced 400 ft.-lbs. ofTorque with about 350 HP to the rear wheels.

Why did you white out the black rub strip? I like the black roof, but think it would look better with the black rub strip. My thoughts, though, are worth what you paid for them!

Thing is that it is still waiting on a paint job . Had it 5 years now and been repairing it since I bought it . Used to have a body kit all around and a bird perch on the back . Sleazy previous owner raced it (unbeknown to me at the time ) and I ended up replacing nearly everything on it so far . It's almost there now , but with these old bangers you just never know what will happen next . Thanks for asking champ , cheers

Sorry to hear you ran into another sleazy member of the human race. It happened to me once as well. Looking good now and soon better with paint. Glad to hear you've nearly got it where you want it to be.
