brake pedal switch?
Hi everybody
My 1989 6 spd is running. Presently with terrible gas mileage. The CEL is on maybe the O2 sensor.
But what I writing about is this. I have a few shorts in the car.
The tail lights and information center lights (trip odometer reset and the temperature voltage switch, etc) are not working.
When the car is off I pressed the brake pedal to start the car and the door chime sounds and the console lights come on and then go off when I take my foot off the brake.
I got under the dash and moved the brake pedal by hand. I noticed what seems to be two blades with no connector at the top of the pedal on the switch that operates the lights, i guess.
Are the blades part of the cruise control?
My drivers side direction works perfect the passenger side flickers quickly and barely illuminates.
