Welcome and congratulations on the new car. They are great cars.
I also have a 94, but mine is a coupe. When I got the car 6 years ago, I had intermittent problems with the climate buttons. Was cleaned, I would also press the buttons in order from the left side to the right (playing a piano), that would allow the specific button (on, off, etc) to work. But for me --- it did not completely solve the problem so I got another controller head - knock on wood - the replacement is still working 6 years later.

WOW!!! I'm blown away by all the good wishes. I am really looking forward to contributing to and learning from all you guys. I tried to add a pic of my car to my profile, but I guess it didn't take. I'll keep trying. Just an update: I did as suggested by Cliff Harris and pulled my A/C controller out and cleaned the contacts. It is working like new. I found a youtube video on the entire process here:
