Hey, guys....this is my first post. I just purchased a '94 LT 1 convertible and I am very excited. I do have a few problems that need attention. My first is with the A/C system. I have the automatic climate control and for some reason I cannot get it to turn off. The OFF button does absolutely nothing. All of the other positions seem to work just fine. Any suggestions?

You need to take the control head apart and clean the pushbutton switch contacts.

Thanks for the welcome aboard, guys. There is no feeling in the world like wrapping your a** in fiberglass...;-}. It's been 26 years since I have had a Vette in my garage. And, thanks for the info, Cliff. I will remove the control head and give it a good cleaning.

I just got my '94 coupe on the 12th - found that my controls would not respond until the AC "cycled" then I could make adjustments as I wished. Finally got to drive it a bunch yesterday because of rain for over a week - man this thing is a blast to drive. Reminds me of the C5 I had in '04, but far better than the C3 I had a couple years ago. Welcome aboard and enjoy the car.

" Abandon All Hope Ye Who Enter Here" w/ Genuflect

These cars are honestly addictive. Nothing screams 1980s-early 1990s like a C4.

WELCOME TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Welcome. Like you I have a '94 but mine is a coupe. I bought it last year and am finally getting the bugs out of it. Like you I'm older and sold my last Vette 12 years ago but now I'm fighting health issues so I thought "what the hell" and got the LT1 I wanted so many years ago. My car is 46k and beautiful (also fast and fun) tell us about yours.
