Default Retrosound newport radio?

RetroSound Newport Radio/RDS/Bluetooth/iPod/Aux-In/USB 84-89 Corvette C4 w/Bose. Has anyone installed this radio and if so what do you think of it?
Thanks

Just my .02, but there are much cheaper ways to get those features in an aftermarket radio. I do not believe it is a "plug and play" replacement for the Bose headunit either. You will still have to run new speaker wires to each location.

I thought the Bose wiring was too thin to carry power to the speakers, it was just used for signal input to the amps.

The Retrosound model for the C4 is wired to use the Bose amps as factory.

Just goes to show that you learn something new everyday.

I found one for $359 shipped with the bose equipment included so I ordered it. I downloaded the manual and am amazed all the things the radio does as few of buttons as it has. I agree it is very plain looking but my 88 is bone stock and I don't like the look of modern colorful radios in the vet dash. If it was a double din I definitely would have gone a different direction because when it's off it is just a black screen. Had a 92 ZR1 and I put in a full screen with nav and back up camera and it looked nice in it. Will give my impression of Retrosound when installed.

The look reminds me of a 80s era no thrills model. I think you would be better served finding a 1.5 TFT Display model

A lot of nice pictures but no 1 1/2 din for sale except the one I bought. Having an ipod interface with plug in back of radio was important to me and the one I bought has that. I want the I Pod to be hidden in the console.
