My light comes on about 5 to 10 mins after start up on my '95 L1. The engine idles good , even with the ac on and in gear when the light is on. When it goes off, very ruff idle and slightly better if I put in in neutral at a stop. Soon as the light pops up again, back to way smother running engine. Any idears on this. Brand new to this car for sure.

Look on youtube to see how to get codes with a paperclip. Do not forget to remove it when done. Might just be front two o2s.

I did that yesterdan and can you believe no codes showed with 2 cycles though them.

Does it bog and fart sometime? Mine did this with no codes the front two o2s was the fix for mine. look for vacumm leaks too. A fuel pressure test will help too.

Thanks, will look into that. Seems like it just goes to super rich when the light goes off. Learning something everyday with this car. Love it.

Sounds like a bad MAF sensor. When a MAF code appears, the pcm will stop using it and revert to using the other sensors in speed/density mode. That can explain why it runs better with the SES lamp on.
