In a couple years, you might be able to build a car out of them.

I don't see that as a problem whatsoever, if I had the money/room i'd stock up on these parts, never know when you'll need em

I have the same problem, I check with the local JY once a month, when they have a C4, I'm there stripping everything I can off of it.

LOL, are you just randomly collecting when you come across them? Did you get them at junk yards, ebay, craigs list?

Yes I have a few things listed in the parts for sale section. I have to determine what I don't need. but I am sure many of the duplicates will get sold.
Is there something in those pictures that you are looking for you are looking for??

Some of it yes, some of iut was bought when I did a conversion from an 89 to 91 interior in my old 89.

some was, oh, I might need this and the price was right..

what I pictured was not all of it. I have a couple harnesses, along with door panels and more hush panels. I think I need to separate the stuff I need to keep and the stuff I could sell

Stripping everything you can? Why? If you need parts, go get what you need. If you have reason to believe a part will fail soon or is getting worn, then prepare for it. But grabbing parts "just in case" will keep other Corvette owners from valuable parts that they actually need right now.

Same goes for the OP. If you really need all those replacement parts, then put them in your car already and be done. If not, please make them available to those who really do need them.

I'm not trying to tell anyone what to do, I am just sharing my thoughts about this "parts collecting" thing. That's what these forums are for, sharing thoughts and information, so don't flame me. Bottom line is, to each their own. If hoarding is your hobby, nobody can stop you. If you have an obsession, maybe get some help...? More than ever in this world, it's important to think of people besides ourselves. We are a community.

Say there's a guy working his butt off doing a full restoration and he needs a good part that isn't being reproduced, and he just can't find one. (Or maybe they are being reproduced but he really wants an original.) 30 miles away, another guy has three of these parts sitting in a box "just in case" and doesn't really need any of them. Seems wrong to me.

That was part of the point of this post.. I have way too much, do I need them on my car no, but certain things I will keep, example, the extra hatch switches (orange letter) for my car, the window switches as well, those are 'wear' items.

I will sell many of what I have, but too many times I post stuff on here and it never sells. I have a lot of stuff to sort and price, then I can post it. I have some stuff listed that I posted yesterday.. I will post more, I promise

I'm a bit of a packrat with spare stuff. I can't toss stuff that's still good if it'd being replaced with speed parts. I have box's of stuff in the attic. I needed one of those door hatch switches for the ZR-1 but got one on e-bay.

You don't have too many parts, you just don't have enough cars.
