power door locks
i need help, my power door locks will only work when both doors are open.
i have replaced switches, actuators used the 89 corvette service manual,
but still can not figure out why as soon as i close a door the system stops

You mentioned using an '89 FSM so I assumed the car is an '89. If it's NOT ....................
Where is the ignition key when the doors are open and it doesn't work? In your pocket?

I believe that the "Forced Entry Theft" module is involved in the sequencing of door locks and the operation. I'd start with a check of that. I've never owned an '89 or earlier so I've no "first hand" experience but it's where I'd look first.

i can have the car running or parked key out
as soon as i close either door the auto locks stop working
