Ive been running the numbers, but would like to get more specific. I know in 1996 there were a little over 21,536 corvettes made. Out of those 4,369 were convertibles. Any way to know how many of those cars came with the LT4? I know around 33% of total production got the LT4 to begin with, so would that be a reasonable guess that 33% of the convertibles got it?

Is that as specific as I can get or is there another way to verify or narrow down the numbers?

Convertible Interiors:

so your total # of LT4s= 2009 (1540 + 469)

Total 1996 Convertibles - 4,369

There is only one problem, those numbers are for the collector edition cars only. They don't help me find how many of the 4,369 convertibles were LT4s.

At one time there was a website that had all of the production numbers you need. However, that site disappeared many years ago with no notice.

A while back a member here claimed to have saved the data from the website on a hard drive and said they would post them again. That was some time last year and I have not heard anything about it since.

I don't recall the screen name at the moment. Maybe someone else can jump in that has a better memory than I.

according to Vettefacts.com, the number of convertibles that were
LT4s = 469 total

if i could have cut and pasted the table into the site, it would have been better, but my skills w/ inserting isn't that great.....

purple = 17

aqua = 8
CE = 469
GS = 190

total = 1292

Again, you are posting numbers that are for CE corvettes only. These wont work for mine seeing it is black.

I am fairly new to the forum and have been researching my LT4 as well. Looking for numbers on a torch red coupe LT4 with red interior. This was also a Canadian export vette making it 1/348 total vettes to Canada. Any help would be appreciated. I have the basic numbers but looking for more specifics.
