Heater core. How Hard?
Dodged all work today to put my stereo in. I was so happy.
Then, I see a drop of Dexcool on the bottom of the heater box.
How hard is it to get that out of there?
It is a 1985.

Do a search for the fast guy method (No I'm not kidding) that's the title of the thead you can do it from underneath the dash.

You don't pull the dash, instead, pull the passenger seat.
Pull the hush panel, drop the ECM and the door control module.
Remove the support bar going from the door pillar to the dash.
Use a 7mm to take the cover off the heater box.
Pull the cover, unbolt the core, re-install.
Drink beer and laugh at webpage showing guys pulling dash.

PS: If I could click "THANKS" on that post more than once, I would.
10 to15 hours has me contemplating jumping naked into a trash dumpster filled with rabid sharks, broken glass, used hypodermic needles and rubbing alcohol.

"Fastguy" sounds familiar.
I may have even seen that years ago and forgot.
Regardless, screw it! I'll order both and if you can change both with that method, I'll let you know when I try it.
Thanks again.

No. There is nothing in common with these two jobs.
I don't remember anything about a "door control module". That "support bar" is a challenge. Here's my creative tool: box/end wrench with long 1/2" extension.
That screw in the upper left corner is done by the "braille" method. You can't see it!
I hope you're flexible!

I found one part number in a thread as: 20007898
Are they the same or is there another part number? Anyone happen to know what it is?

PS:
The heater valve is broken too. (the little arm is off of it)
I remember seeing threads on repairing that. Just been putting it off.
May as well just do it all at once, as I think that thing has to come off too.
While searching for the part number, I found this. I guess someone from here made a video of it and it is pretty good. Others may find it helpful. (I know I did.)
It is here:
The Part Number is 74800. (Which I believe is a a Four Seasons number)
Woot!
