Default 40th Anniversary Callaway Supernatural #93-002

Spotted this beauty today at breakfast. Could this be serial #1 that went up for sale in 2011?

So cool. Just not a fan of the rims.

Yeah, I think the rims are the low point too. I love the vents behind each wheel though!

Wondering if this is the same car:

I've always liked the piece between the hood and front bumper. But I've never seen one of those pieces for sale anywhere. Maybe somebody might be able to help me locate a piece.TIA

I believe the kit is called the "Calloway AreoBody" and originally you could buy it through Calloway. Perhaps reaching out to them might be a good start.

Nope, that's #93-002, the twin...

Note, the belt line is body color, and I believe the car had been repainted in part.

Here's ours, all original except tires.

Thanks for that Chris! I think it is so cool both of the Twins are still running around although I guess it is true what they say about the first born!

Perhaps some day the twins will unite again for a photo shoot?

OK, Chris, dumb question here ... why is the belt line black like early C4s rather than body color like other 93s?

It's moulded into the panels, and then painted, just a carry-over from the 89/90 years. Just a preference, I imagine, but it's how the cars were built.

Chris, not to wander off topic... is there a ref page that lists all the C4's Callaway had their way with?

A Callaway may be the best C4 to own and hold. Ok - maybe the R9G is a little better but either would be nice in my garage.

well Chris takes much better care of his car then the other guys does of his. I couldn't help but notice how dusty and dirty it was.

Thanks - it's been well kept over the ~15 years I've had it, and really looks nice, in a preserved kind of way.
