Default Hard initial start and rough idle

Hey guys so I've been chasing these two issues for a while now. the first time i start the car after its been sitting for a while(few hours) it's hard to start but i can shut it off and it will immediately start up fine no problem. Most people point to fuel pressure but I've tested it and it spikes to 46psi and then settles to 42 and hold for 25min+. I've replaced a lot of things that I've suspected could be an issue plugs, wires, coil, FPR, O2 sensors, injectors, egr, ect. Some of these things helped a little some of them didn't change anything. I'm kinda running out of ideas and am thinking that its possibky either an opti issue or an injector issue with the new injectors(bosch III). The opti was replaced within the last 20k miles back around 2010. Is anyone able to think of anything else that could be causing the issue before i go for the opti to rule it out? From what I've read it doesn't really sound like an opti issue but not too sure what else to check. Any suggestions or ideas would be great! Thanks!

Sounds like you have replace a buch of parts that were not needed. The year would help but just looking at what has been done I am thinking maybe your temp sensor on the water pump if it is a LT1. Maybe just a dirty or bad connection.

Long shot - check the temp sensor at the water pump. Connection and sensor.

I'd agree some weren't really needed like the FPR but a lot of them I'm glad i replaced as they looked to be in pretty poor condition with only having 55k miles on them. could have been due to not being driven for 7+ years before i bought it. Sorry this is a 92 Lt1!

Yes but it does not show on the temp for a bit. Do NOT get your opti wet. might be a good time if you do replace it to pull and replace your knocks and do a proper flush. But I would go out now and just clean the connections and see how she starts in the morning.

This type of symptom can be caused by a marginal ignition module.

Noid light on the injector will show if it's getting a signal from the Craptispark.
