Roof panel

Roof panel
I have a 1996 C4 hardtop with a glass panel. The interior sun blocking roof panel does not stay up in the middle and the suction cups the prior owner used do not hold. Is there any kit available to fix this problem?

Lick and stick it or use a statically cling one or for long term put vinyl wrap over the top.

Probably can't hurt to purchase another panel. The static-cling perforated panels work well but the key is to have the underside of the factory Targa top very clean. The static-cling panels are available from the various CF Corvette accessory vendors and are custom-cut for each of the generations.
For both my '93 and '02, I use Stoner's Invisible Glass and it works great to clean the targa top. Spray on and wipe off with paper towels. I do that twice to make sure any film or haze is gone from the surface. I also remove the top and place it upside down on a flat surface to clean and to apply the panel. It does take a little effort to get out air pockets or places where the material may be creased. Just start in the center and work out any bubbles.

I eliminated that problem all together - don't want any sun so I covered the underside with black sign vinyl. $10.00 later no sunshine - I gather have a fiberglass top but not in the cards right now.
