Some people might say that seeing as you're poor and in college you should be driving a Corolla, but I congratulate you on going with a car that gives you much more enjoyment.
I'm pleased to see that the younger generation can appreciate these cars.

Drifting
Boy do I remember my college days - drove a Mustang beater a couple years - later a nice newer Firebird - over 45 years ago. Could only dream of one day owning a Vette - 35 years later finally got my 1st of 3 different years/generations. Good for you and enjoy it all you can.

The car may be why I am poor
its still a good time to buy c4s, they won't stay affordable forever! Great car and the only reason I can keep it alive is because of this forum! Thank you guys

Nice Corvette, It looks to be in pretty nice shape. Thank you for sharing the pictures. I also managed to keep my C4 through high school and university, and still have it now. Glad I kept it.
Hope you have lots of fun with it.

Burning Brakes
Man that beats my college car by miles. Neither the gas gauge or speedometer worked so I'd tell girls "Yeah I'll give you a ride if you're ok w/ possibly running outta gas" They were MUCH more laid back than real-world women so it was cool

Great looking car.
Actually the fronts are correct. The rears have the vanes pointed the wrong way.
See a picture below from the 1987 sales brochure for the correct directions.
