That's correct, I was talking about the slave cylinder only. They corrode internally over time (just like the C2-C3 Corvette brake caliper does) and the fluid will leak out and the slave will not fully depress the pressure plate to release the clutch disc.

Here's a good picture of the clutch master/hydraulic line/slave set up on the early C4.

the adapters are just ebay 1" wide. i did buy the usa made ones tho. lots of cheap ones made in china and such. i like the quality of them. will be putting them on the car this wkend. ill keep you in the loop.

Yank that TPI sell it with the 4+3 if lsx stuffis that cheap go for it dont look back.
If youre a machinist Im looking for a dirt cheap 02 5.3 core for my pos truck. Not sure if I can use a 6.0 with the 4l60e pm me if you got something

yep thats the plan, ls6 is being built for it right now. but likely keeping the 4+3 for now. $$$ dont allow for a tremec yet lol

i did get a T5 World class 5 speed transmission from an 1988 iroc z28. gonna do the 5speed swap.

stock block, crank, rods, pistons, king main bearings, king rod bearings, king cam bearings, 243 ported and polished heads, heads flycut .010, gmpp asa road race camshaft, holley aluminum version of the ls6 intake, it is match ported to the heads, and it is match ported to the throttle body. 78mm ported ls6 throttle body and maf, longtube ss304 headers, cai, 42lb injectors, ls3 road race oil pan, arp main studs, arp head studs, arp rod bolts, arp engine bolt kit, etc etc etc....

T5 transmission.... gonna tear it down and rebuild it for good measure.



post script, also has a hurst short shifter kit on it.

ls6 is 405hp stock, but with heads, cam, intake, cai, longtubes, and a good tune, im hoping for 475-480hp ballpark. but regardless of what it turns out, it should be a blast!!!
