95 radio issue
The radio and speakers seem to work, but I can barley hear any sound out the speakers. Anyone have this issue and know a fix? Thanks.

Does the radio head seem to work proper with lights and tuning?
All four speaker the same low volume?
If all 4 speaker are low, check fuse 37. Also the Bose relay needs to be checked in the radio box behind the passenger seat in the lower storage compartment area.
Fuse 4 and 40 should be checked also to cover all bases.
This could be a routine fix rather that have some A-hole rip the system out just cause he wants to make a sale.
If you want to work on stuff you can get help here. Or find a good corvette tech with good diagrams and electrical experience.

If they never worked on a corvette and know the system with remote powered speakers and how to check power for it, then I see a disaster written all over this.

Does the antenna go up when the radio is turned ON?
Did you try a tape cassette or a CD to see if the sound was normal?
Does the volume control vary the sound level at all when turned?
The Bose relay in the storage box underneath the plastic is in the styrofoam with the relay in the connector inserted in it. It's pretty obvious as it is at the end of a wire bundle.
Depending if you actually have to go there, first before pulling it out with the radio at half volume tap the relay and see if the sound pops back in or of anything happens.
Another angle of attack is to remove one rear speaker and check for 12 volts between the orange and black wire. If it is there, then you can forget about the Bose relay and power from the radio head to turn the relay on.
If there is power to the speakers, it's a possibility the CDM (receiver and pre-amp) in the storage compartment might be bad. (that's a whole different effort).

Well the antenna doesn't work... pops said he had it fixed and then it started not to work again. I manually pulled the antenna out to test the radio. I used a cd and it works I can hear the music very faintly from all speakers. Using the tuner the volume goes off at the lowest, but stays the same all the way up. What's up with these antennas?

OK here's the relationship. Fuse 37 (20 Amp) is the supply feed for the antenna and the Bose relay (contacts) via the power for the speakers. Assuming the antenna motor is OK and not operating properly, then there seems to be a 12 volt supply problem. Regardless if the mast goes up and down by itself, you need to see if the antenna motor is getting power or trying to work. Basically if you can figure out the antenna lack of power, then the radio will probably be fixed also.
I would go back to the beginning and check fuse 37 making sure the correct amperage is in there. You can also pull the fuse and measure both terminals on the block and see if one side is 12 volts (hot at all times).
Do this test: Turn key to on and test driver window up down. Then turn key of off and take out key and see if window still goes down, it should. Open the door, the window should not be operational anymore (lights on radio should shut down also). This is the delay bus which also powers the Bose relay (coil). If the delay bus is not working the speakers will not be powered or work. (if this test is ok, stay with the fuse 37 voltage stuff and info in my previous post).

Go get a DVM so you can make measurements. Harbor Freight has ones for under $10 (or less with coupons) and possibly other stores. Accuracy is OK for troubleshooting cars.

Their job is to sell stereo's (and install them for free) and the Bose is quite unique. Inevitably their solution will be to replace your Bose unit with a new aftermarket radio. Many of the Corvette radios since the C4 are actually integrated with with other systems within the Corvette's electronics.
That may in fact be the best solution for you considering everything the latest aftermarket radios offer. If that is the case the best thing you can do is go to Crutchfield and purchase a system along with the installation kit. Their folks are true audio experts and are eager to help you with any problems you might encounter.
One other option is to contact Dennis at Double D Mods. They're a Supporting Vendor and have solved just about every audio problem you might encounter with a Corvette.
