Default Tires

Hi everyone..

I bought a nice C4 a few years ago. It had a nice set of wheels and tires but I am looking to change it. The backs were 17X11 with 335/35/17 and the fronts were 17X9.5 with 275/40/17.

I do not want to invest the $1200 in rears so looking to go with the same size all the way around. I should also note that I am trying to keep the cost minimized. I did some research and found some BF Goodrich tires 275/40/17 that will fit both rims.

My question is. Given that the rear rims are wider, will the change make a huge difference in driving? I do not go to the track. I drive around town to and from work and not extremely worried about handling other than something that would make it crazy.

Any ideas?

Sounds like you are keeping your present wheels,Nitto 555 G2 fronts and rears correct size under $650.00 at TireBuyer online,Same sizes Sumitomo HTRZ $534.00 plus shipping. These sizes are correct for those wheels.Prices are for all 4 tires.I believe 275/40 is to narrow for 11' wheel.
