I just bought a 93 40th anniversary corvette, and going through the jacking parts, I see the jack handle fits a 3/4 lug nut but I have 13/16 nuts on the stock wheels. This isn't a big deal, I can adapt but is this normal or did some yahoo change lug nuts?

At some point someone has put 21mm wheel nuts on a car "engineered" for 19mm wheel nuts. 3/4 fits! Is he the "yahoo" or the guy measuring?

Apparently the wheel nuts aren't externally threaded for caps either like OE. An M12-1.5 with correct external threads and a 21mm hex would be very unusual
