Default How many North NJ C4 guys around

I hate that the C4 gets a bad rep around these forums. My first Corvette I was ever in was a 92 LT1 C4 Coupe and these cars really are undervalued in my opinion. The C4 has a raw feeling to it and the interior is a true cockpit feel.

Seems I see less and less C4's on the road by me nowadays. A neighbor around the block from me had a beautiful maroon 1995 Coupe. We were bullshitting the other day and made plans to check out each others cars. By the time the weather was decent and I got over there HE SOLD THE DAMN CAR

Anyway just wanted to say I appreciate what the C4 did for the vette world and curious who is around my area. Maybe when the weather is better we can meet up for a cruise or maybe even a Englishtown track day for fun.

Chris

I am not really Northern Jersey, but not to far either. The 89 gets driven all year unless there is salt on the roads, so why wait until the spring ?

Well my vette is not my daily. It's for fun and since by the time I get out of work it's already dark/cold/usually shitty salt on the roads. I don't drive it much during these months. I do take it out still when the weather is nice but usually these months I use my Jeep.

I'm in Central Jersey ( Manalapan/Monmouth Cty). To people in South Jersey I'm north...people in North Jersey say I'm south!

Raceway Park if I'm available I would do....it's only a few miles from where I live.

I'm out in the Clinton area about 4 miles from 78 so pretty easy to get around the state. There are a couple of clubs that I know of in NJ/PA but at this time I'm really into club involvement. It seem that most clubs really favor the newer years mostly C6-C7. While I like all vets I have much more in common with people that know and respect the earlier gens. I thought if I was to be involved in a club it would be geared to C4 and before, as I own a 70 and a 91.

You mean "vettes" : ) yea to be honest I looked I to a CORVETTE club by me years ago and I had nothing in common with anyone. Definitely not my scene. I did think of starting a car Club for any cars, all enthusiasts welcome. Just a bunch of car guys in this area that would like to meet a few times a month on weekend and go for cruises and maybe grab a beer or lunch. Also possibly go to Englishtown or Atco every once in a while to either run their cars or simply spectate.

I just never really had the time to get it done.

Default South Jersey Here

I'm in Cape May County...and I sure don't see many C-4s around here, alot of new 7's and even 6's but they usually don't see my 1992 Black Rose Coupe. but I guess cause they choose not to, ( no wave-ever).
This is my 1st Vette always had GTO's but I think I read somewhere when you get over 60 you have to own a Vette by law. So we quickly went out and got this baby and I love it.

i dont see very many but i see the same 2 c4s in the summer almost every sunny day in the manalapan freehold area. A red one on rt33 and a silver one with chrome rims that lives in the same complex as me. I do a lot of the c5+ around but unlike what ive heard around here the majority of them wave to me in my black 92! Haha this is my first vette also but i guess i beat the 60 mark, im only 28 😊

Hey Chris, yah VETTES (ha ha something still did not look right). I see in your avatar a C7 so if it is yours, that's cool that you give the lowly C4 some love. Most C6-7 owners do not.

Sup Eljay! those people are idiots. All vettes will depreciate the same as every other generation and all are awesome cars. Anyone that thinks they are better because of a car they drive should drive off a bridge!

I bought my C7 because I love the look and wanted to mod it. I'm very happy with it. Makes around 710hp : )

I'm sure I'll see you around the neighborhood. I have the white 35th Anniversary and my blue 71. They're not daily drivers so I'm not out with them all the time . One of the cars are up here and the other at our place down the shore. You've probably seen my son zipping around town. He has a Grabber Blue Boss 302 and his friend has a silver C6 Z06.

Not a lot of C4's in our area. Mostly C6's and C7's. See ya on Rt9!
