Having nearly "full shade" to the south, south-east, south-west and distance that would likely be involved I'm passing on the Solar for the time being. The NOCO that I had in mind also has a deficiency. I thought marine intended and weather proof it would work well where I intended BUT I'd need to modify the leads to the battery and that would "kill" the warranty under their terms/conditions.

I'm maybe still considering the NOCO but a different model and the price get's a little more intimidating. This offering is 4-bank but expensive and the longer extensions I'd be interested in increase even more the cost. Maybe just another single for the time being. I can likely make do with just 2 and rotate batteries from time to time but that's a damn nuisance.
