Default Cold air intake

Would a filter in the stock box have any difference or should I buy a hole kit any help would be great!!

what year?
I bought only a green filter on my '96. From some research the only benefit (5hp+) is the SLP claw, other than that save your money and buy the green filter(made in the USA)

I doubt it will make a difference. You can cut the ***** out of the airbox and have a decent filter. IF you have a speed densitiy you can use K&N. If not, be very careful not to oil the filter too much.
