Got the relay figure out, it kills power to starter.

I was able to finally get the two outer tail light bulbs changed. It was helpful to remove the filler neck area just for the visuals of the job. Still had to shove my arms into the license plate hole. On the right side / left arm I had to grease it up with lotion to get it in deep enough.

Plan to do the whole tune up in a week or so. drives side looks to have easy spark plug access, pass side look like a tail light job???

getting them back in when you're done is the hardest part. If youhave ham hands it can be a little difficult I just use various sets of wobbly joints to do the trick. One trick I use is I put tape around my wobbly joint so it's not as a wobbly.

if u have a piece of hose (i used fuel hose) u can jam it on the spark plug end and that helps guide it in.

Looks like ill find out tomorrow, the ubar special must have plug wires I ordered [ red MSD ] will be here tomorrow and not next week. So I jumped in the Jeep and ran to Advanced to get the MSD red cap n rotor set before they closed. Was tempted to put the clear plastic cap n rotor set I have unused on it but I only wanna do this once since it sounds so much fun.

Tip: take out the wheel wells, rear and center. I learned the hard way.

If you don't, #2 will drive you mad.

Well i got the charge center hard wired, since i taped into interior lights/cig lighter fuse with spades i put in a switch to turn them on and off at will yet both devices have their own fuse n switch and can be operated independent of each other. Charge center has it own switch on body n led voltage readout. So i can have everything open with no lights on but have the solar panel plugged in keeping battery charged up. Yep im a bleedin genius

I have an '84. I have found the easiest/quickest way to change rear bulbs is to remove the 2 small screws on the bottom of the bumper cover. The cover will pull away just enough for even a fat arm to reach the nuts retaining the inner lights. Remove those nuts, light pops right out. You can easily reach through the inner light hole to reach the nuts on the outer lights. You can change bulbs in 10 minutes.

4+3 question, I see an OD spot on the dash, but looks lite up all the time. [ even when off ] Also every time I turn it off then back on, OD is activated. IM guessing that's kinda normal. they want it in OD to save fuel unless you turn it off.

Just annoying when I realize it, so far have found no use for it, cept as a 5th gear over 50MPH. Only time I use it. Maybe with time Ill find a use for it in all gears...

Also my 80s look is nearly complete, its a gold rim logo but classic satin Spencer's Gifts jacket style

Have to mount my USB plasma ball to the dash

All in all a full tune is not no where as near as hard as folks said it was. Reached all the plugs just fine. If anyone thinks it hard, come do a tune up on my 3rd gen Firebird, its 3x harder then a C4.

no such thing as too much ticket avoidance

pull up the waze app on your phone. its a gps map ap that tells you when red light and speeding cams are setup. a voice comes on to warn you.

also drivers report cops and photo radar etc. i use that plus a detector.

LCD lights are pointed out on purpose to light up the sides of the roads, as well as when brights are on. country roads, animals, deer yadda yadda...

And another boring cold day left alone with access to paint. Did buy a brand new radar for the Vette, just not use to it. So I put the old Whistler 925 in the Vette and the Whistler XTR-135 in the Jeep till I learn all of its beeps n tones. In the Vette I need that instinctive let off the gas reaction when I hear the bad beeps.

Accel Super Stock 8mm Spiral Core 5041R

They are uni fit but come with the tool to splice and crimp like factory which makes the cost about $10 cheaper not needing to buy one.
