There was a C4 Buying guide???
Hey Guys,
I have not sold the Bike yet... (See my intro about my maniacal plan on getting rid of a bike in favor of a vette.) But I have a little, tiny, minuscule amount of cash that even the wife said: "if you find one before you sell the bike..." (insert shoulder shrugging wife pic here.)
Anyway on this post:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-problems.html
There is a link to a buying guide.pdf? Anyone have it?
There are a few local machines on the "Craigslist" that look intriguing for the "father Son" work on but still be able to occasionally "Cruise with the wife"
My Cousin who is a C3 owner basically says Drive a lot before you commit, and hence I want to educate myself as much as possible....
Can anyone help with a link/copy of that guide?
Thanks!

your buying a 30 year old Chevy. nothing more nothing less. realize some parts are getting to be obsolete or rare as hen teeth. other parts not so much. buy the newest and best shape car you can afford. and don't pay Corvette tax

There may be books out on the shelves, but there is no substitute for the guys that own, live, drive, swear at, bleed and love these cars.
You will learn more about the cars and what you are getting yourself involved with by spending time asking questions on the forum.
Also, you can ask for someone to go with you for an inspection and you will probably find a super knowledgeable guy in the same town. We typically work for beer.

This isn't the same one as the link you referred to, but it seems pretty comprehensive.

I used a similar guide when buying and found it to be a great help since I was a complete novice at the time.

Send a PM to forum member BOGUS. I'm sure he still has the article as he was the owner of the Forum that posted that article.
He loves to help other Corvette owners too and he still has his 92 coupe.
