And now, it is MINE! '87 is home - with ME!
Picked up the '87 today and brought it home. It is, in a word, excellent.
I knew that I would love it but, after all the test driving and then finally deciding on the C4, out of them all - after the ride/drive home, I was beyond pleased to know that I made the perfect choice for me. NOT knocking other versions of the Vette but, for me, it's the C4....
And now, I am a proud owner.
FINALLY!
And I've STILL not stopped grinning!
My oh my, first ride home and it was a beaut! Stopped off for some snacks. And, um, a few pics... LOVE IT!
I love - LOVE - the way it looks!
And my, is it a joy to drive!
Fits me sooooo nicely! YES!
Not a rip or tear to be found on the leather!

You will look back at it every time you get out. EVERY TIME man. Its amazing how a car thats almost always less than like $12k today can make you feel so good. Congrats!

Enjoy your new ride, color combinations with red interior looks beautiful, and if anybody ask you what the red is called, it's Flame Red.

That's one good looking '87. It appears to be very well cared for. Enjoy it and welcome to the forum.

Congratulations and welcome to the club! The condition of the car looks great and it seems to have been well-cared for. And the first photo with you takes me back. You look like I did when I first got mine.
I would only caution to check that all fluids have been recently changed. If you do an oil change, use high mileage oil (it has seal conditioners) to help leaks from starting since I bet you'll be driving it alot. Often when a car sits for long periods, seals and gaskets dry out, harden and shrink. Then leaks start when driving commences again.
