Default Fuel Gauge

I filled up the car for teh first time the other day it was showing 3/4 at the time.

After filling it, it read full. After driving about 70 miles it still showed full. So I stopped and filled up again. It took 4 gallons.

Is the fuel gauge staying at full normal?

Mine does that although I haven't counted the miles. It will begin to move more rapidly through the middle. Never let t get to the point when the check gauges light comes on... you're on less than fumes!

Mine comes off full on the gauge about 60 miles after topping off. I guess that is about 3-4 gallons used.

My experience is similar as I can drive for about 50 miles before it nudges from full.

I never take gauges as gospel but fill up after about 300 miles give or take,

Default 7/8 when full

I’ve used Techron to sort out the gauge going to zero and it worked .
When full it only reads 7/8.
Any idea if continued use of Techron would remedy it ?
I’ll try nonetheless.

Mine is similar to what others have said. The guage is non-linear. It begins to move after ~50-75 miles.

I've heard folks say that it does help.
