You can fit wider wheels and tires, but this is the widest the sawblade ever got.

I think in the early 90's , the ZR1 came with 17x11 sawblades. Not sure if they would fit the conv.

You are right - somehow I forgot that some ZR1s came with sawblades. The rears only are 17x11, right? Also, good point about convertibles. I don't know if there is a functional difference in their wheel well space, but the OP should measure and verify. FWIW, on my base coupe I can fit 17x11 et50 wheels (rear Grand Sport dimensions) at all four corners with no rubbing. But the sawblades on the ZR1 have et36 offset, which will not fit a base car without flares.

ZR-1 specific 11" wheels are @+36 and the GS are @+50 so the OP can't use most of your information and needs to disregard. The extra width of the ZR-1 rear body allows/requires the @+36 to accomplish a fit/finish to rear body panels.

The mentioned 17 X 9.5 (@+56) is the only fit the OP should be considering and the OP mentions '94 so that is a "machined finish" saw-blade and that wheel was only offered in '93 on the ZR-1 which won't fit anyway!

I am editing my post to reflect that 17x11 +50 was only on the GS. So yeah, the only sawblades that ever came in 11" width have the wrong offset to fit well without flares. So...back to 9.5" it is! Thanks for the corrections.
