Oh yea, and he said the block only had about a .001 runout in the cylinders. The cam is great too,just need to polish it up prior to install. I had the shop put in the cam bearings. I dont have that tool and dont want to use 3 sets of bearings to get it right.
New exhaust valves but giudes were just fine.
Figuring 150k plus miles on this thing i would say OE was pretty good in 86. At least if it wasnt built on a friday or a monday

Update
Got the block, heads flywheel back today. They look grear from what i can tell. Still wrapped in plastic but can see they look clean. Thats a good first sign.
Thinking of how close we are to being able to 3D print one right in front of us like on Ironman
They are printing metals, but still very expensive
Imagine just being able to print stuff like a bushing set or a specially shaped plastic hose, we can basically do that right now
