It Arrived!!! Officially Have My Vette!!!
Ever since I was a kid and the 1996 Grand Sport came out, I dreamt of being behind the wheel of it. I had the toy car, I had the poster, I drove it in video games... and today, that dream came true because now, it's in my garage!

Here's the story
I have been searching the web for about two years, lurking this forum and many other car sites learning about C4s and the corvette universe. I love all corvettes and I wanted to make sure my dream was one that I should pursue, learning about car maintenance, cost, driveability... etc.
2016 was a big year for my wife and I. We paid off all of our student loans leaving only the debt of our house and one other car on our books. We made major improvements to our house, checking off a ton of to-dos. We had our first child (and learned about the cost of daycare). After all the dust settled, my wife and I talked and the numbers looked good, so I started my hunt.
With everything I learned I came across this car, listed in Minnesota at a classic car dealership (I'm in Michigan). It had higher mileage than I have seen on most Grand Sports out there and the price matched. The pictures looked way better than I expected, especially the wear you usually see on the driver side seat was basically non-existent so I felt it was a good car to call about.
Two weeks later, I had an accepted offer, got an inspection, it went great, and now it's in my garage.
Car Stats:
- I am the forth owner. First two were in Texas, then Minnesota, now Michigan.
- It's number 744/1000
- Its 1/21 for its exact color and other specs.
- 66,200 miles
- The only issues on the car are normal paint wear that comes with 66k miles.
The mikes and wear are attractive to me because I want to drive it, I don't want to keep it in a museum. But, I will still baby it.
Thanks for the interst.

I wish!
My dad was over to experience the drop off at the time and he fell in love with that C3. He asked me if I got it for him. Would have been an amazing gift and hopefully some day I can do something like that for him.
