Sterring Wheel Restoration
Is there some place to buy an origional 1985 steering wheel leather cover or a place that will restore the wheel?

Check some of the better corvette stores for "wheel skins" they look awesome and I hear are a breeze to put on! Id try TLD (the last detail), Zip or Mid America Designs. And I think they are all listed right here in the Forum Mall too. Good luck!

I bought my leather cover from Davies Corvette Supplies in New Port Richey, Fl. The have an internet site if you do a search. Looks excellent, feels great. They usually ship same/next day. Good to deal with.

I just put my wheelskins on my 92 last week and I absolutely love it. Very easy to install. Took about an hour. I don't have pics yet but will post them as soon as i get them.
I bought it here on the forum. I think it was $40 at Mid America and I got it for $33 through the forum mall. Very quick on delivery also. I think it only took like 2 days to get it.

I can recomend Chuck, great guy, wanted to loan me his wheel puller and everything to a guy that he didn't know. did a great job looks as good as new.

Chuck Pelton does great work, a lot cheaper than others too with better quality (I think)

i was going to get mine recovered but found a cherry one at carlisle from a 88 for $200 so i bought that one i think the going price to recover is $250-$400 :cheers:
