Default snake skinner body kit

Anyone ever heard of a Snake Skinner (I think that's the name) body kit? Was produced by Morrison (the one who made the Cobra's) .
Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks.

That was the part that interested me the most. there were no real good shots of th front of the car in the 200 mph story. Looked kinda like a camaro nose??

I like that rollbar and the mod on the tail lights. I wonder how in the heck he did that with the taillights

I went to Morrison Motorsports who makes the kit and I guess they no longer make or sell the kit itself. There is a link on the web page but it just comes to a blank page. Maybe it is down but that is who makes it. You might want to call them and ask if they still have it. Sweet kit though. :seeya :flag

WOW, that is a nice looking bumper. looks very tube-frame race car-ish. why did you have to go and post that, now I want one too.

Morrison Motorsports sold the Snake Skinner molds a few years ago. I dealt with a guy who lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida who claimed to have bought the molds from Morrison. I even called Morrison to verify his claims, and they sort of agreed that he had them. I can now say he most certainly does not!. He did produce a nose for me, and accepted my money for the rest of the kit. After a few months, he never produced the rest of the kit. He did return most of money, but managed screw me out of about $500.00, and stuck me with a nose for which I have no body kit. If you hear that there is someone offer the kits for sale, beware.

Those tail lights are sweet. I like the flush look. Someone should make a kit for that alone.

That kit has been passed around all over the place. It was originally made by an engineer (I've forgotten his name) in Detroit. He designed the kit back in the early 90's to accomodate the C4 racing teams who wanted to use larger tires in the rear. The kit has been owned by Morisson, Melrose tops, Toledo Pro, and numerous others, but now it is back in the hands of its designer. I have his name and contact info at home, and I am absolutely positive that he is the one who designed it, and the one who currently owns the mold. I don't know for sure if he still has the front spoiler, but I know he has the wide rear end molding.

I looked into this kit at one time, but decided against it. The owner of the mold will be ready to crank some body moldings out after Christmas he says (he's currently setting up a new shop). He will be asking $1400 for the rear. I can try to find his name and number if anyone is interested...

As far as I know, there is no "wide" rear end on the Snake Skinner kit. There is the nose, two side gillls with slabs built it, and a rear bumper with flush mounted tail lights and subtle ground effect type lower portion.

I have talked to a guy who claimed to have designed a wide ZR1 tyoe rear for narrow bodied LT1 and L98 cars. I got his number from Toledo Pro. His wide body starts behind the doors, and ends up 3 inches wider by the time it reaches the bumper. :U Tommy Morrison did drive a car with this rear on it, but this it NOT the Snake Skinner body kit.

I gave Tommy $ to have the Snake Skinner made for my ZR-1 He told me it would take 3-4 weeks to make. I never got it. I make 3 trips to Albany, 100 phone calls, got an Attorney, and finally got my $ back 2 years later.
The picture you guys are looking at is the race front and the street rear. The kit came as a race and street kit. The race rear was make for ZR-1 and has a large wing.

Robert Pfeffer of DJ Race team has the molds for the nose piece. (at least he did in spring 02)
Many of you probably know that he races in the TCC and is teammates with Danny Kellermeyer.
He said that he wanted to produce some pieces and sell them but that he was having problems getting the pieces to seperate from the mold cleanly and that he wouldn't sell any crap... this was months ago tho so i don't know where he stands now.
i'd like to have one of the nose pieces myself!!
maybe we can show him that there is enough interest?!?!?

i don't usually like body/ground effects kits, but this one looks good. it flows with the car, clean looking like it was suposed to be there, not like the regular peel-and-stick looking type
