Does the C-4 still have the steepest windshield rake?
When it was introduced in 1984, the C-4 boasted the steepest windshield rake in GM's production car history. Does anyone know if this is still the case?
What about the Pontiac Transport/Chevy Lumina/Oldsmobile Silhouette minivan triplets of the 1990's?

I would doubt it, I had a 95 camaro and the rake on its windshield is much greater than that of the vette.

The 4th gen F-body (Camaro/Firebird) had a steeper rake at 68*. I believe the C4 has a 72* rake.

Re: Does the C-4 still have the steepest windshield rake? (94vette)
My Sebring Conv has a rake simular to the 4th gen F-body, quite steep.
The C4 still has a nice rake as opposed to some of today's cars.

Actually, "steep" means closer to vertical. Gradual would more describe the rake of the C4's windshield. Correct me if I'm wrong there. As far as I know, the 64* rake of the C4's windshield is the most gradual.

EDIT: Again, if I'm wrong on the whole steep/gradual thing correct me please. I have always been under the impression that steep meant a near vertical incline, and gradual is the opposite of steep.

So much for using the marketing language from GM's 1984 Corvette magazine slick...
