I was @ WalMart earlier today and saw that they had their Rhino Ramps 8000 made by Blitz on sale. Sale price is 16.97 and they have CoreTrac Non_Skid Feet. I have looked at these before but did not feel like they would work on the corvette because they are so low but at that price I figured it was worth a try.
When I got home I cut the shipping tape off and guess what...my vette had no problems going up the ramps. Those rubber feet did not slip at all and I had them on a smooth concrete floor. The incline is 17 degrees and the lower valance barely rubbed going up. :yesnod: Man I can change my oil, flush my radiator and clean the lower part of my engine this weekend. :smash:
I just have one question for you guys....while the car is up on these ramps, do I need to use jack stands too? The ramps are suitable for vehicles up to 8,000 GVW or ( 2,000 lbs each wheel / 4,000 lbs per pair ) :lol: I copied the info off of the box....

I have them and they work great. There's a small scrap when I first drive up on them but it's only for a second. They don't do any damage, plastic to plastic. They also lift the car up to a good hight.

There was a thread a few weeks ago right after I bought mine where everyone was trashing them. Mine work great though! Yeah, the edges of the spoiler scrape the tiniest bit but it doesnt even scuff it. I was scooting around all over the place underneath it getting to see the underside for the first time. I dont think you need jack stands though. And of course I paid $30 for mine *grumble, grumble* at pep boys.

If you can't find it go to your local Walmart, the sale price is only $16.97, and its worth every penny of it to be able to just put them down and drive up on them without any problems of them sliding. :yesnod:

I need an extra set of jack stands to raise the whole car, but I think il'l pick a set of these up instead. There wouldn't be a problem driving the front of the car up on them and then jacking up the rear right? :steering:

I have a set now. I think I may get another. Then I could drive up on all four at the same time. A lot easier than jacking up the car.

Well I be damn...I just got back from Wally World here again and they still have 2 pallets full of them back in automotive...must be a local thing only....want me to shipem to ya... :lol: Just because the shipping cost would make them cost more at least you would have saved money on the orignal purchase. :lol: :lol:

I just got back from our local Wal Mart and the ultra ramps (the steel kind that are too narrow for our cars) were on sale for the price listed above. The rhino ramps were NOT on sale. Maybe they were mistagged at other stores. If it seems too good to be true it prolly is... :rolleyes:

I know what you mean because these same ramps were at the Auto Store down the street from me.. for $35 and when I got to WalMarts tonight they were still $16.97 Maybe this store has them priced wrong.....but I can tell ya, they are moving them pretty fast.

Got mine out here in CA on Friday. They were not listed as being on sale but when I scanned them in up popped the sale price.

Used 'em for the first time today. I backed up on them, they did not skid, and took pictures of the Spare Tire delete for Raysur..
