Default Best way to clean painted wheels?

I have the painted silver wheels on my car and was wondering what is the best product to use to clean them. Any suggestions?

I don't use much elbow grease, but soap and water is the best way, but use a different sponge or rag than the one you use on the body.

Really depends on the condition of the wheels. If you have really neglected them and you have brake dust really caked on Eagle 1 makes a really good product for removing it. Make sure that you use a product that is safe for "painted/clearcoated" wheels.

I have seen people use some wheel cleaners that contain acid and really screwed up their wheels.

Other than that, what every one else said "soap and water"

P.S. Brake dust can also screw up the paint/clearcoat on your wheels so regular cleaning is a must.

When I get the chance to had wash the vette, I use the same terry cloth towel I use on the body - I just wash the wheels last.

I use a different one because I do the wheels first. After years of washing the car thne doingthe wheels I always splash water up on the body again. If you ask why I dry the body immediately then obviously you don't live where the sun comes out. I never wash at dusk anymore because the next morning I see all the spots I missed.

So from now on, it's wheels first, or take them off to clean them.

Orange Blast at Wally World (Wal Mart for those who don't know already). Spray on, set for a few seconds, wash off, your done.
