Default Winder Sticker price via Corvette Museum, couple of questions

I saw a post about getting a reproduction window sticker for my vette and looked into it on the Corvette Museum website. What I don't get is, why such a high price? I mean, they insist that you also order a "build sheet". (what is that, by the way?) and the cost of build sheet is $40 and sticker $30. I just can't see why it costs $70 to get a piece of paper? Is there anywhere else to get this item at a more resonable price?

The reason why you need to order the build sheet is because that is where they get the information to make the window sticker. I agree the price is high, but hey, if you want to play you gotta pay! :smash:

Then I will just suck it up and pay. In fact, I just ordered 4 chrome caps for various engine parts and it cost more than that. I should be used to paying a lot by now. God knows, anything associated w/a vette is going to cost extra.

I bought mine from them. Looks great. At least the money goes to the Museum and is put to good use.

Mine just came in the mail. I agree its a bit of a rip, but they have all the
records from Bowling Green since day the plant opened and no one else does
so they can charge what they want. I fould out my car came with a glass top
that I was not aware of and that the vin does not align with the
actual sequence I.E. my car's vin ends with 177116 but the production sequence
number is 0177996. interesting? Also consider if you sell the car this sort of
documentation is sort of "required" or expected by most buyers.
BTW, if you can get the chance to visit the musem and do the plant tour, do
it. its great.

I'd rather buy $70 worth of Zaino or windex for that matter. At least it would serve a function.

What are you going to do with the paper.... save it to show a potential buyer?

The only good thing about the purchase is it went to the NCM. If you've got $70 burning a hole in your pocket put another $30 into it and buy a NCM brick.

My $.02
