383 LT1 12:1 compression LT4 intake, Stock LT1 heads ported by me. Comp cams extreme 224 with 1.6 RR. Exotic muscle headers into a Flowmaster cat back, no cats. ZF-6 w/3:45 rear Ed Wright programing (not quite right I've got some drivability problems) as far as #'s HP and Torque? 1/4 mile? I only have 350 miles on the engine I havent "layed into" it yet.

Just list your:
1.HP/TQ FIgures,
2.Head specs, - I have no idea.. i havent finished breaking in the motor.
3.Intake specs if stock( I hopenot) Aftermarket, which one, Injectors etc. - stock LT1 intake and TB
5.Exhaust detial - Stock exhaust with gutted fingers
4.Transmission - stock
5.Stock ECM or Aftermarket - PCMforless.com chip.. have some drivability issues but alvin is reprogramming as we speak
6.Track times. - havent been to the track yet
7.Power Adders - gasoline
8.Mistakes or any tips. - my machine shop! wont use them again! too many blunders.. I think I would have gone with a bigger cam (hotcam seems small for 383) oh and be careful not to pinch the wiring harness along the firewall when isnalling it.. it gives you serious electrical issues!!

good luck!

For those of you who have deleted the Smog pump and system, would it be wise to put on one muffler in place of where the stock CAT was and run straight pipes to the back? This way it would give the throaty sound and not the deep low bassy sound like it would if it were to have the mufflers in the stock location.

I knew going in that I was going to port my heads I actually had to port both the intake and the head to match. I dident have to touch the top of the runner on the intake though but, took about .060 out of the top of the intakes on the heads.

Longtube Headers with a single one foot tube after the Y pipe

The car is very quick, wheel spin is a problem while racing (great on the street)
There was a lot of trouble with this engine going together, things went wrong that shouldn't have. And everything had some sort of issue. Would I do it again......IN A HEARTBEAT.

Also, When going with a Big CID engine, what size exhaust system is best? WOuld 2.5inches be good enough? Or should I go with a big 3incher all the way from the collector to the rear?

Just list your:
1.HP/TQ FIgures, 560 - 500 lb ft (406 13:1 on race gas)
2.Head specs: Victor Junior 23 deg.
3.Intake specs: TPIS miniram - ported to heads 24# injectors - 58 mm tb
4.Transmission: Jerico 4 speed (DON'T US A 700 R! YOU'LL HATE IT) Dana 44 with 4:11 ratio
5.Stock ECM or Aftermarket: Programmable SpeedPro controller with wide band oxygen sensor
6.Track times: I road race my car, but ran 11:90 at 120 at 4300 feet with a 2 second 60 foot time (no traction with road race tires)
7.Power Adders: Lingenfelter 1 3/4" headers and dual 3" exhaust - no cats)
8.Mistakes or any tips: Be very careful about your ultimate goal for the car. I've spent $80k figuring that out. Plan your project and build it right the first time.

I used J.E. pistons, Manley 6" H-beam rods, Crower crank, Mike Jones cam, Jesel valve train, Crower roller lifters, Bowtie block Mallory distributor.

Good luck

If it were me I'd run 3 inch all the way back.
