My signature in the forum PIN DR is the same as my vanity plate on the vette and refers to my hobby restoring pinball machines. This weekend, after a 3 month search, I obtained a Williams Corvette pinball machine for my collection. It was manufactured in October of 1994, the same month as my car! So now, during the winter, maybe I can't drive my Corvette, but I can still play with it! :D

That is so cool. Is it the full size pinball machine? I've seen a few on ebay.

Yes, it is the full size arcade game. I have 17 in my collection currently, but have held as many as 50 at any one time. I do ground up restorations on them. When I'm finished this game will look and play as good as the day it came off the assembly line. I couldn't resist the theme! Its got all sorts of 'toys" on the playfield related to the car. A big engine that moves and bounces the ***** around inside it, a drag race track where you race your vette against the machine's car, and tons of digital display modes with racing sounds and the like. Just very cool.

I may add a Corvette to my collection some day as well. Of course, it's nowhere near as big as yours... I only have 2. A Joker Poker EM that is totally restored and a Sure Shot that I'm about 80% finished with.

I have 15 arcade games....I dont collect them I put them at locations to make $! :D I dont have any Pinball's .....I was told they are a PITA.... :smash: If I saw a Corvette one I dont think I could resist buying it & keeping it in my house. Sounds real cool! :thumbs:

Heh, I do the 25Cent candy machines on the side down here..Easy to clean, refill, only problem is punk kids putting pipe wrenches on them and breraking the works inside, thus pouring all the candy out!

a local bar used to have that game... i've wanted one ever since. not only is it cool cuz it's a vette game, but it is actually one of the better pinball games i've ever played.

:smash: I found one of those at a local iHOP a year or two ago. I was extremely excited :conehead until I saw the "out of order" sign... next time I went back, it was gone. :( So cool though! :cool:

Yup, that's the one. Interesting that there are at least a few others in the forum who have pins, or are involved with coin-op stuff in one way or another. I also collect coin-op items and have many trade stimulators, slots, gumballs, etc. ANY forum members who happen to be in my area are welcome to stop by and play the Corvette and the other machines as well. All I ask is that you bring your vette!
