My dad says that my 84 feels faster than his 98. I doubt it, I just think that it does because it's a lot less refined than the C5 is.
My father took my uncle out for a ride in my car, and my uncle yelled HOLY SHEET, SLOW DOWN :D
My uncle works for a dealership and has driven an auto C5, so maybe it is faster, or maybe it's just that whole "not as refined" idea again.

I estimate my 84 has appx 200,000 on it. odo shows 115K and it stopped working over 9 years ago. It was my daily driver until 2 years ago when I got another pick up truck. Now it is planned for some R&R, (repair and restoration). I have a new ZZ4 sitting in the garage, I just need to make some time to drop it in along with a few other goodies, then save up some money for a new paint job. (I have owned my 84 since 1986)
