Whats your Favorite C4 Design? Early/Late L98/LT1/LT4
What do you like more?
The 1984-91 Stlye front and rear bumper design? Classic Vette Round tail lights, and the no-nonsense front bumper design
Or the 1992-96 Bumper design, with square rear lights, and wraparound front lights?
You like the L83, the Torquey Monster L98, or the top end leader LT1. or how about the Raw muscle LT6 or LT4?
Like the Turbine, brake cooling rims on the 1984-1987 vettes?
or the 6 spoke 17's on the 88-90 models?
what about the Asphault Ripping Sawblades?
OR the ZR1 5 Spoke A-Molds? and Black GS rims.
As for interiors, whol likes the bare basics styling of the early models, 1984-89? with its digital dash, and User friendly controls.
What about the interiors i nthe later models? They were much more comfortable, and lavash, but a good deal more complicated.
me---I like the early models, the mean looking front end, and calssic rear lights, with the torque Monster L98, and bare basics interior, but im biased... :flag

For the most part, we're all biased toward what we drive/own. That's why we drive what we do. As I looked I narrowed down what I liked about certain vintages until I had it settled down. Then, I searched out the best I could find in that particular model for the price I was willing to pay.
Later years, 6-speed, Torch Red, LT1. Got a '94. Would have liked a '95 or '96, too.

I bought the 96 because I prefer the styling to the earlier C4s and I got the LT-4, well because it is an LT-4!
That said, all C4s and all vettes are cool.

Re: Whats your Favorite C4 Design? Early/Late L98/LT1/LT4 (RED-85-Z51)
After endless searching, A LOT of daydreaming (and nocturnal ones as well), after close to 2 years it came down to only one: 1990.
The older body styling was an absolute must - vertical gills & round tail lights.......loved the feel of the L98 more than the LT1 (both great engines) off the line and to the next stoplight - plus the looks of the L98 engine I think is totally killer, also knew I'd eventually be modding it anyway.......17" wheels a must.......6 speed was absolutely critical - and if all vettes were automatics then I'd never get one, which would really suck because I've been unabashedly OBSSESSED with the pure sex of these cars all my life.....definitely had to be the newer dash with larger "wall"......and the full sport leather seats........mid-mileage (62K at the time) but had to be pristine (she is)......red or black.....so I ended up with EXACTLY what I wanted. Took a fair amount of effort to get her - thats for damn sure, but hey your best dreams don't turn to reality very easily :D

The way I see it, The C4 has been turning heads since it was introduced. The 1984 happened to come out while I was in High School and driving a Mustang. My blood has been on fire since I first layed eyes on it. It was my dream car and now it is my Daily Driver. Every Corvette is Beautiful, but the First C4 is just plain GORGEOUS.
I just added a few things that GM forgot to. :steering: :auto:

The C4 is for me. I like the 96 especially because it is the last year of the C4. A real classic someday I hope.

Like the front of the late C-4's, back of the early C-4's. L98 because it's a 1'st gen small block and there's a lot bigger aftermarket for the 1'st gens. That's starting to change though.
Front and rear bumpers changed in 91, not 92. I have a 91 with convex rear bumper and wrap-around lights.

Bradvette hit the nail right on the head! 1990 best of both worlds, the more agressive early body style with the cockpit interior. The only way I'd give mine up would be for a 90 ZR-1.
