Default The Corvette Black Book--Axle Question

Hey Guys--On my 89 coupe,the RPO code is G92 Performance Axle Ratio.Does this mean I have 2.59 or 3.07??? :confused:

my 86 came with RPO G92, and it's 3.07 gears. i'm sure yours is the same :cheers:

Automatic coupes got 3.07 with G92, usually. This stuff varies on year and buyers could specify 2.73 instead but that was usually verts.

If you find code G44, then that assures 3.07.

Its called a performance axle, but its not any different than D36 they put in every other automatic.

If you want to be sure, the ratio is probably scribed on the bottom of the pumpkin.

If you want to be sure, the ratio is probably scribed on the bottom of the pumpkin.
It's on top not readily visible, but it is inscribed.
