Are Grandsport rear fender flares "blended" in ?
Anyone with a Grandsport - are the rear fender flares blended into the body or do they appear like they are "stuck" on with a visible seam ?
People that buy the Grandsport fender flares - do you have someone fill in the seam - if so do they use fiberglass or bondo ?
Sorry for such a newbie question!
Thx!

I thought about having them blended in, but after having the bodyshop do some mock-ups we all decided it looked pretty bad...just not a natural look to it at all.

While were on the subject, has anyone blended them? I'm curious about doing this, I don't like the stuck-on look. In this pic, it looks fine:
...but I want a more natural look on my vette. I saw this done on a C3 at the car show this weekend and it looked sweet. And he had some FAT meats bolted on the back. Fiberglass shouldn't be that hard to work with.... could be a DIY job for someone with a little fab experience.

I think it depends on the weather.

I agree...to me they look better in cold weather.
