1994 Oil Pressure?
I drove a 1994 tonight and the oil pressure seems a little low to me. It has 61,000 miles running Mobile 1 and it ran in the low 40's. Is this normal?
Also is there anything else I should be looking for in a 94?

With your foot on the gas, it should be in the mid 50s at least.
At full throttle, 60 or better.
Idling it should drop into the 30s.

High oil pressures cost you horsepower. GM put the operational range for the LT-1 at between 20-80 lbs. It varies with the combination of oil level, temperature, oil thickness, rpm, moon phase, etc.
Any reading above the shaded mark on the guage is considered "normal".
