Satin Black or Black Primer
A bit of history, which you might know anyway...
In the 50's this was quite common for those of us who could not wait to get our coupes or roadsters on the street, also it cost less than a full paint job. I believe it became a standard for "Hot Rods". Went well with white t-shirts, jeans and engineer boots. Also was a great way to hide less than perfect body work etc.
Almost anybody could spray the stuff and it dried very fast with no runs. However it faded quickly and needed to be resprayed often. Today's paints most likely don't have the same problems.
Your talents with Photoshop (or other computor photo software) is pretty good. Much easier to test ideas than 50 years ago.
In the end do what you think is best, "Rebels" are not born everyday.

Its your car so go with what YOU like, IMHO the satin looks too much like primer on as nice a car as you have, but i am kinda fond of that aqua color anyway, almost bought a 93' that color before i got my 96' this week

I'm not a huge fan of the flat black. It looks like the old primered cars everyone drove around in , during the 70's and 80's..
I saw a Viper here last week with this paint job...

The sticker on my windsheild say's "FuBlown", a company myself and a couple of friends own, we are promoters, we bring mainland entertainers/acts in from there to Hawaii.

I don't like primer unless its used for a prep finish.
The Aqua is nice and the paint looks good.
You could never drive a car that low in California the CHP would be waiting for you.

I think it looks awesome, to me it looks like more of a sleeper for some reason... which is good. And as unique as your car already is, it would be yet another step towards nobody having a car like yours, ever.
