Default F/S: Fully built 383 LT1

Hi people. I have a 383 LT1 for sale that was supposed to go into my '92 vette. Priorities changed and I have to get rid of it. Here are a some of the specs:

Speedomotive 383 shortblock with hyperutectic pistons
Advanced Induction 190cc CNC ported cylinder heads and intake manifold with corrected geometry
Advanced Induction custom grind cam (they asked me not to disclose the cam specs except to the buyer)
Advanced Induction custom pushrods
GM guideplates
Rhoads lifters
Comp Cams Pro Magnum 1.6 roller rockers
MSD Pro-Billet vented optispark with MSD Blaster coil
stock throttle body
Melling high volume oil pump
Canton Racing 7 quart street/strip oil pan
stock water pump
TPIS EGR and AIR blockoff plates
new SFI approved flexplate for auto tranny's (but it can be used in a stick car too with a flywheel)
Jet Hot Coated ceramic coated Hooker headers

I think that's pretty much it. I'm asking $5500 or best offer for the whole package. The engine is pretty much turnkey and includes most of the sensors also. The only thing I don't have is a flywheel. The person that buys the engine also gets the engine stand and an engine lift. I'll have no use for them because the project got canceled, so just a couple of extra goodies for the buyer. E-mail me if you're interested. I check my normal e-mail more often than the Vette Forum messaging system, so that is the best way to get me. Here is my e-mail address - farscape1a@gmail.com

By the way, the Corvette in the background is gone. Just wanted to let everyone know.

Thanks!!!

you probably should give people an idea of the cam, there is no secret cam that has not been run/tested 1000x by people on lt1's over the years. you dont need to be spot on, 1 degree off on duration or 5% off in lift- no one is going to bust your chops...if you bought something you can do what you want. also did you have the engine on the dyno? thank you

Hi there. The engine has never been on a dyno, the cam is 57x lift on the intake 56x on the exhaust I believe with 1.6 roller rockers. I'm running from memory because it's been a while since I looked at the numbers, so I may even have those numbers backwards. I know the lobe separation is 110 degrees though. I will say this though, it's a lumpy knock rod. When I get the actual numbers, i'll give a better idea of what they are.

I got more detailed specs of the cam. Here they are:

22x/23x duration
.56x on the intake with 1.6 roller rockers
.57x on the exhaust with 1.6 roller rockers
110 degree LSA

Is anybody interested in this engine? It's a great bargain considering what I put into it. I'm open to reasonable offers. I just really need to get it gone, but I don't want to give it away.

Give it time man. Most guys don't have $5k floating around when a deal like this comes up. Seems like a decent price, but it's gonna take time to find a buyer.

I know. It's just that I got bad news about my current car and I have to move the engine to get the other car fixed... I'm in a jam like no other...

Which means it'll make about 450 rwhp, give or take?
