Hey that's a really good idea. I have trouble getting up mine when the tires are wet. Never crossed my mind to fix the problem...

You may also try truck bed coating lke herculiner that has the ground up rubber in it. I have a 4 post lift and mine came with the runways in a textured black finish, but I plan coat them in truck bed coating this summer to make it even more slip resistant.

The reason I went with the 3M tread is that I thought it makes for a better appearance on the lift, although it's not cheap by any means. Also easier to repair, should it get damaged somehow.

Thanks - the only reason I'm selling it is because I'm getting a 4 post lift and not enough room for both.

I got the #M tape at home depot, in the paint department, near where all the tapes are. Check the length though, because as I recall, I needed to get 5 - 6 rolls and the stuff isn't cheap. You may just want to do the center strip, but I think it's better to do all 3.

Kwiklift sells their powdercoated package for $1400. But that does not include the second bridge or the wheeled dollies that RAO-3 is including in the deal.

Wish I wasn't on the other end of the country That is a very good deal!!

I've seen this lift before. Seemed like a great idea to me. I have thought about purchasing one, myself, but I just didn't know any owners to ask questions about it.

How did you like it? Why are you getting rid of it? What should I know about it (pros/cons) before I buy one?
Thanks for any info.

Hi Mike,

Great tool to have, but I'm getting a 4 post lift and don't have the room to keep both. I did a header install, full exhaust, installed heat shield, tunnel brace, all fluid changes, even wax the car on it as it's easier to get at the spots down low. There were only two "cons": 1)I thought the ramps were slippery when I bought it, and took care of that with the 3M tape so now the top surface is better. 2) I found the laydown ramps that kwiklift sells are too short, so made my own that are longer and more durable.

To me, it was well worth the investment, if I had the room I would definitely keep it.

Love mine, No cons for me. Easy to use and well made. Having the centerbridges is the key to do wheel & suspension work. When not in use you can just park your car on it and you barely know it there.
