bolt-on or press-in pick-up.
Although the pick-up you have now may not fit in the 7" deep Canton
Corvette RR pan, provided that the taller height of the pump still fits
inside the pan, then it may be possible to buy a different pick-up that
will allow you to use this pump & pan together.
Does the pan fit over the pump without the pick-up?

I have a Melling select 10552 pump, and I have had a hard time trying to find a pickup for it. I tried both the 20-049 and the 20-079. I had the 49 first, and it was a bit too tall. After talking to Canton, I exchanged it for a 20-079...and it was even taller!
I'm just going to modify the 20-079 to make it work. Based on my measurements, the pump body *should* fit inside the pan.

The 10555 (+25%) is or ought to be taller than the 10552 (+10%).
The increase in volume is attained by making the gears longer and
thus the body becomes longer to accomodate the extra gear length.
Armando's made a pick-up for my 10552C to enable me to retain the
pan they made previously when I elected to change to the '52C from
an earlier pump based on the weak Melling casting. It is not done
entirely to my satisfaction (the original and the pan were both great.)
85vet wrote about sourcing an M-Select pick-up from Kevko. While he
had success, I've been in touch with Kevko this spring without any joy.
After brief acknowledgements to my initial inquiry and another providing
a link to pictures of the Armando pick-up, Kevko has declined further
contact, despite two follow-up emails from me.
It seems possible that Canton's pick-up for the HV155 might be a
candidate for the 10555. For custom pick-ups, perhaps forum sponsor
Moroso's race shop divison could help. Another prospect might be
Champ Pans.

well the 10555 uses a bolt on style pickup and i only found one type to fit the pickup. My canton pan is baffled for road race/autocross so the pickup will not go into the pan since the baffles are in the way.
I ordered a new M155HV pump and canton specific pickup for this pan
So the 10555 and pickup must go! taking offers
