WTB Comp Cams XFI 268 HR Cam
Hey , Anyone happen to have a new or lightly used Comp Cams XFI 268 retro hydraulic roller camshaft to fit the early non-roller blocks ???

I have an XR269HR-12. Don't know the interoperability bewtween GenII and Gen I. I'll be removing it next weekend for a beefier unit. Might be close to the one you need?

The timing gear end of the cam is different between the early and late blocks ... roller blocks have a retainer plate that keeps the cam in the block ... older motors used a button / bearing with roller cams to prevent the cam from " walking " out of the front of the block ... Thanks , it is close , but the XFI series has a lot more lift with less duration AND a wider separation angle ...
