Default K&N 3 cone ram air intake sysetm

FITS 90'-96' (slanted radiator)
This is a very nice piece, and a very unique one at that. It's a claw set up inside of a ram air box with a scoop that goes under the nose of the car. The filters are accessed by 4 allen bolts that hold the cover plate on. It has a built in IAT relocate sensor, and it is powder coated gloss black for a shiny durable finish, and has chrome corvette letting on it. This piece draws attention at car shows, because no others ever have it. The pics obviously don't do it justice, but it is what I have. (it had finger smears from my oily gloves on it in the pics)
You can hear the difference with it, and at higher RPM it did help compared to stock with cut lid.
(it does not suck water)
(it does not drag, it's higher off the ground than the air dam)

$350+shipping(as is), I'll take paypal/ fees paid or Money order
It has:
1. IAT sensor
2. 3 K&N cone filters
3. Template/backing plate for cutting the radiator shroud
4. 2 chrome housing bot spacers
5. Chrome lettering

That looks interesting. I've never seen that before. I don't think it will work with my Big Mouth air dam though. I'll have to get under the car and see how much room there would be.

Any backup data on hp / tq increases?

It should fit, and no I don't have any info on it, I wish I did.

one more time, it is like the SLP claw, but has IAT relocate, and a scoop for fresh air only.

That is a good looking unit. If I was going with the S/C next year I would grab it. Good luck with the sale.

On a personal note, the stickers alone are pretty sweet..

Interested!

Who made it?
Hows it mount (do you have pics of it mounted in a C4)
What's it made of and how much does it weigh.

Do you have any logs with it actually providing a RAM AIR effect?

I'm still interested...problem is my current intake is providing cool air (data log confirm) however, there is a slight pressure drop at higher RPMs

Can you post photos of where the intake mounts to the MAF ducting...and are the filters enclosed at the bottom..[in pic it show open]..or are they open like the other ram air intae..

I'm trying to find out whether:

its sealed and gets air from its own scoop or from the cars cooling flow.
it will fit with no issues on my intake ducting...
it provides real ram air effect.

Thanks Mike
