Well, yes, if the salvage yard is equipped with vettes/vette parts.
Some here may not be aware that anything other than a vette has a Delco starter for this application.
The vette uses the Nippo starter with its different cast housing on the gear end thus requiring its own mating cover to properly enclose the starter 'nose', thus formed differently than the cover intended for the Delco housing.
