Default J55 calipers and brackets

I bought these from someone way back when (?) with the intention of getting rid of my dismal 11" brakes. I ended up going another route and these have been sitting on the shelf collecting dust. They were VHT painted not powder coated. Boots still look good.

$100 for the pair with the brackets, plus shipping to 05773.

If these are for 13 inch rotors that upgrade an 86 to 13 inch, I will take them. I have $$$ waiting.

You need a fabricated adapter bracket to mate the early style knuckle to the later caliper mount.

How do the J55's compare to the C5 setup? I want to upgrade my 84 and was planning to go to the C5's, but if these work just as well. (I do remember reading somewhere they are comparable) What rotors need to be used? I'm interested. PM sent.

If GoldCylon backs out, I'm interested! My 12" base system is a little anemic.
Thanks!

Now that I've missed out on this setup, can anyone tell me if Mid-90s Mustang Cobra calipers are a fit?? I had heard that in addition to the well known c5 upgrade, you could add these calipers with the Cobra brackets with no other mods and put them on a C-4. Any truth to that?
Inquiring minds want to know!

Good luck and enjoy your brake upgrade, GoldCylon!!
