It looks to me like a little piece of glass broken/chipped. It is on the matting area,
There is a small place on the frame corner where the metal is without black. It could be touched up.
It is a small imperfection, but it is there... I have not attempted to take it apart and inspect it. I first thought someone had dabbed a little black paint on the glass, but the spot would be solid black.
I was looking in my Garage and found the box with Picture in it. Found several other 40th Anniversary "stuff".
Amazing how this crops up when not looking for it.
